SANDOVAL — Carolyn S. Jett, 63, of Sandoval, died on Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 31, 1951 the daughter of Henry and Fern Eileen (Rippy) DeWeese in Centralia. She married Donnie Jett on May 14, 1979 at Bethel Baptist Church in Odin.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Jett; step-daughter Dianna Klockenga and husband John of Dix; step-son Donnie Jett and wife Peggy of Centralia; grandson Codie Melton of Sandoval; brother Tom DeWeese and wife Pat of Sandoval; sisters Phyllis McKneelen and husband Max of Seminole, Fla., and Marilyn Stone and husband Jim of Lafayette, Ind.; brother-in-law Gary Deadmond and special friend Lola Fredrick of Odin; grandchildren Hayden, Hannah, and Halle Klockenga; nieces and nephews Pam Gelsinger, Peanuts Deadmond, Rhonda Daugherty, Brenda Kunick, Kathy Parson, Courtney Reams, Jeff McKneelen, Deana Falconeri, Sherri Cundiff; and Mark Stone; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jett was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sandra Deadmond; daughter Michelle DeWeese; and nephew Bradley Stone.
Carolyn worked previously at Murray Center. She loved camping, golfing, fishing, pontoon boat rides, flower gardening, and caring for her yard; she was a great cook. Carolyn loved her friends and family very much.
Per Mrs. Jett’s wishes she will be cremated. Cremation rights will be accorded. A visitation will be held from 1 -3 p.m. on Sunday with a celebration of life service to start at 3 p.m. at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval with John Klockenga officiating.
