SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – The National Weather Service in Paducah says as if the cold wasn’t enough, forecasters are monitoring the potential for some light snow across northern portions of our region Saturday.
Right now, one to two inches of accumulation is expected in a corridor near and north of I-64.
Forecasters are not expecting much in the way of significant impacts with most of the accumulation on grassy surfaces.
However, a period of heavier snowfall could make for a period of slick conditions Saturday afternoon and evening.
Keep a close watch on the latest forecast.
