FAYETTE COUNTY — A 31-year-old Brownstown man was formally charged Monday in Fayette County Court in a second case accusing him of sex offenses.

Christopher D. Wright was first arrested in November on two Class 1 felony counts of Criminal Sexual Assault by force, and one misdemeanor count of Criminal Sexual Abuse.

He was ordered detained on those charges in the Fayette County Jail and that’s where he was served Monday in a second case charging him with Class 1 felony criminal sexual assault by force, Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a juvenile victim, and Class 4 felony grooming.

Wright remains in the Fayette County Jail with hearings in both cases scheduled for December 6.
