Kenneth “Kenny” Robert, 81, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 pm October 23, 2024 at his residence. He was born February 26, 1943 in Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois to the late Everett and Francis (Longlois) Robert. Kenny married Jackie (Wolf) Robert on May 2, 1994 in Benton, Illinois.

In addition to his beloved wife of thirty years, Kenny is survived by his son, Vince Timothy Robert of Owensboro, Kentucky; step sons, Josh Easton and wife, Keli of Greenville, Illinois and Joey Easton and wife, Danielle of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Taylor Easton, Brennan Easton, Jace Easton, and Preslei Easton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by son, Corey Matthew Robert; sister, Marion Melliere; and brother, Edward Ludwig.

Kenny was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Michaels Catholic Church in Radom. He was an avid Cardinal’s fan and loved coon hunting. Kenny loved spending time with his dog and companion, Peepers and his rescue cat, Mr. Grinch. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Per Kenny’s request, there will be no public services held. Memorials may be made in Kenny’s honor to Franklin Graham Samaritan Purse or Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
